Wholesale Bird Spikes
Trade and bulk orders across France
We want your business, so tell us what it will take to win it. Our team will put together the most competitive quote we can, and we would rather have a real conversation about a real job than publish a discount band that fits nobody.
Who we supply
Pest control companies, facilities and building managers, roofers and builders, local authorities, and online resellers. Bulk orders are quoted rather than priced from a table, so tell us the products and the quantities and we will come back with a number you can actually plan against.
What to tell us
- The quantity, or the total run length in metres if you would rather work that way. A strip is 50 cm.
- Which strip. Stainless is cheaper and nearly invisible, so it suits building frontages. The moulded plastic needs no assembly, which on hundreds of strips is real time, and it suits long boundary runs.
- The lead time you need. A bulk order is not a retail order and we will give you a real date rather than a general one.
- Where it is going. A site delivery prices differently from an office one.
Specification notes for trade
- The stainless strip protects a band about 70 mm across, with pins 115 mm long and roughly 60 per metre, on a clear base 500 x 23 x 5 mm.
- A ledge wider than about 15 cm wants two rows, front and back. Budget for that at survey rather than at fitting.
- Spike strips suit pigeon-sized birds and larger. Small birds settle between the pins and want netting, and pricing a spike job for a sparrow problem is a call-back waiting to happen.
- Fixings are chosen for the substrate rather than supplied with every order: silicone on masonry, screws into timber, cable ties on railings and pipework.
- Wild birds and their active nests are protected in France as across the EU, so surveys and installs are planned around the nesting season and work waits where a nest is occupied.
How to order
- Tell us what you need on the form below or by email.
- We come back with pricing and a lead time for that volume.
- Confirm and we get it moving, picked, packed and delivered across France.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply trade and bulk?
Yes. Tell us the run length or the quantity on the quote form and we will price it.
Is there a minimum order for a quote?
No formal minimum, but a quote makes sense once you are past a few dozen strips.
How is bulk pricing worked out?
On quantity and on what you are buying. We do not publish a tier table, because the honest answer varies by product.
Do you supply pest control contractors?
Yes, and that is most of the trade business. Tell us what you get through in a typical month.
Can I get a standing price for repeat orders?
Ask. It is easier to agree once than to quote every time.
Do you supply builders and roofers?
Yes. Spike strips and the solar mesh kit are the two that come up most.
Can you supply solar installers?
Yes. The solar mesh kit is a 30 m roll with 70 clips, and it is the product installers ask about.
Do you offer exclusivity for an area?
That is a commercial question and not something we will agree to on a web page. Ask and it will get a real answer.
Do you white label?
Not currently.
Can I buy without the retail packaging?
Ask on the quote form. It depends on the product.
What lead time should I plan for on a bulk order?
Longer than a retail order, and how much longer depends on the quantity. We will give you a real date with the quote rather than a general one.
Do you hold stock?
For the main lines, yes. For a large one-off we will tell you what has to be brought in.
Can you deliver to a site rather than an office?
Yes. Say so on the quote form so it is priced correctly.
Do you invoice on account?
Ask. For established trade customers it is usually workable.
Can I have a proforma invoice?
Yes, just ask.
Is VAT added to a trade order?
The price you are quoted is the price you pay. Anything else that applies will be on the quote rather than a surprise.
Do you supply outside France?
This store is set up for France. For elsewhere, tell us where and we will point you at the right store in the group or quote directly.
What is the difference between the steel and plastic strips for a bulk job?
The plastic needs no assembly, which on hundreds of strips is real time. The steel is cheaper and much less visible. Both deter the same things.
Which do contractors usually buy?
It splits. Steel for building frontages, plastic for long boundary runs.
Can I get samples?
Ask. For a serious quantity it is a reasonable request.
Do you provide fitting instructions for a crew?
The product pages carry the fitting detail and you are welcome to use them. If you want something in one document, ask.
Do you do site surveys?
No. We are an online supplier and we do not visit sites.
Can you tell me how much I need from a photograph?
Often, roughly. Send it with a measurement in the frame and we will do better than a guess.
What if I order too much?
The fourteen day right to change your mind applies to a trade order the same as any other, and unused goods in their packaging come back.
What if a bulk order arrives damaged?
Photograph it and tell us. We will replace what is damaged.
Do you guarantee stock for a project?
Only if we have said so in writing on a quote. Anything else would be a promise we cannot keep.
Can I mix products in a bulk order?
Yes, and most trade orders do.
Do you sell the netting in bulk?
Yes, and the same applies: tell us the area and we will price it.
How do I start?
Fill in the quote form on this page or email theteam@birdspikes.direct with what you need.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Usually within a working day, and faster if the request is specific.
