Who we are
Bird Spikes Company is part of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd. We sell bird control online, direct to the public, with no showroom, no collection and no sales visit in between. That is most of the reason a 50 cm stainless strip costs €5 here.
What we sell
- Spike strips in stainless steel on a clear base, and in one piece moulded plastic. Sold by the 50 cm with no minimum.
- Netting and mesh: a knitted 20 mm garden net in two sizes, and a fine PVC coated steel mesh kit for closing the gap under a solar array.
- Non contact deterrents: repellent gel, holographic scare tape, hanging reflective discs and a decoy owl.
- Powered units: a solar sonic unit and a motion activated ultrasonic one, both for open commercial ground.
How buying from us works
Everything is described with the specification the manufacturer actually publishes, and where a specification is not published we say so rather than printing a plausible number. Several pages exist mainly to explain why a product is the wrong choice for a particular bird.
Prices are in euro and include everything you pay at checkout except delivery. Delivery is free across France on orders over €35 and a flat €15 below that. Orders are processed in 2 to 5 days and delivery takes about 10 to 18 business days, tracked throughout.
Your rights when you buy
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind for any reason, and a further 14 days to send the goods back. Nothing we sell is made to a customer's measurement, so that applies to the whole range without exception. Faulty or misdescribed goods are separately covered by the two year legal guarantee of conformity that applies across the EU. The full detail is on the refunds and returns page.

Frequently asked questions
Who runs this shop?
Bird Spikes Company, part of the BirdSpikes group. We are an online supplier with no shop counter, which is a large part of why the spikes cost what they do.
Where are you based?
Our France administration address is 33 Rue la Fayette, 75009 Paris. The registered company is Caruso Consulting Co Ltd at Suite 3, 47 Moo 1, T. Nawoong, Meaung, Phetchaburi 76000, Thailand.
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
No. Everything is sold online and shipped, and there is no premises to visit.
How many products do you actually sell?
Twenty two listings covering rather fewer physical products. Fourteen of the listings are two spike strips under the names people search for, and we say so on the pages rather than implying otherwise.
Why does the same strip appear under so many names?
Because that is what people type. Somebody with gulls searches for gull spikes, not for a 50 cm stainless strip. The advice on each page differs; the object does not.
Is that not misleading?
It would be if we hid it. The flagship page says outright which pages are the same product, which is the reason we can keep the search pages at all.
Do you install?
No. Everything we sell is DIY, and the pages carry fitting instructions because that is the part that decides whether it works.
Can you recommend an installer?
We do not keep a list. For roof work, a roofer or a solar installer will usually fit a supplied kit, and that is a better outcome than an accident.
Will you tell me not to buy something?
Regularly. The sparrow, wren and snake pages exist mostly to explain why a spike strip is the wrong product for those, and it is cheaper for both of us than a refund.
Do you sell to trade?
Yes. There is a wholesale page with a quote form. Tell us the run length or the quantity and we will price it.
What do you not sell?
Anything that traps, poisons or harms. Every product here is a physical or a visual deterrent.
Do you sell chemicals or gels that kill?
No. The repellent gel is non toxic and works by feel. Nothing on this site is designed to hurt anything.
Are your prices in euros?
Yes. The price you see is the price you pay, and nothing is added at the checkout except delivery, and only under the free threshold.
How long have you been trading?
The store has been online for several years. We would rather not put a founding-year claim on the page that we cannot evidence from our own records.
Do you publish reviews?
Not yet. Nothing on this site shows a rating or a testimonial until there are verified reviews to show, and inventing one is not something we will do.
Why is there no star rating anywhere?
Because there is no verified review data behind it. A rating that is not backed by real reviews is a fabricated one, however small.
Where do you ship from?
Orders are processed centrally and shipped to you. Processing takes 2 to 5 days and delivery about 10 to 18 business days.
Can I collect an order?
No. There is no premises to collect from.
Do you take phone orders?
Orders go through the checkout on this site. The number on the contact page reaches an international call centre for questions.
Is the site secure?
Payment is handled by the payment provider on their own systems. We never see or store a card number.
What happens to my data?
There is a privacy policy on this site that sets out what is collected and why. In short: what an order needs, and nothing sold on.
Do you have a sister store in my country?
There are BirdSpikes stores for a number of markets and they are declared in this site's own page annotations. This one serves France.
Why are the products the same across those stores?
Because it is the same range. The pricing, the delivery terms and the legal position are per country.
Can I buy from another BirdSpikes store instead?
You can, but the delivery terms and the consumer rights that apply are the ones of the store you buy from, so buying locally is usually simpler.
Do you write your own product pages?
Yes. The specifications come from the manufacturers' own blocks and everything around them is written for this site.
Some pages say you do not know something.
That is deliberate. Where a specification is not published we say so and ask the supplier, rather than printing a plausible number.
What if a product page is wrong?
Tell us and we will fix it. Getting a specification wrong is worse for us than admitting a gap.
Do you price match?
We do not run a formal price match. If you have found the same thing cheaper, tell us what it is and we will look.
Is there a catalogue?
The shop page lists everything, and there is a machine-readable product list at /api/products.json for anyone who wants the data.
